Tyrol Equity acquires the leading manufacturer of electro-magnetic clamping solutions

Nuremburg/Innsbruck, May 2015: Innsbruck’s industrial holding company Tyrol Equity has expanded its portfolio with an attractive high-tech company: On 5th May 2015, the holding company has acquired 100% of the shares of the German SAV Workholding and Automation GmbH.

New CEO will be Tyrol Equity founder Dr. Stefan Hamm, who helped last the wheel manufacturer BBS to its former glory. The aim is to expand the SAV brand even more on the international market.

Hypo Tirol Bank sells shares

Hypo Tirol Bank AG is selling – subject to verification by the Federal Competition Authority – its shares of the Innsbruck-based equity holding Tyrol Equity. 23.3% of the shares will be acquired by the current shareholder, Tyrol Equity Beteiligungs GmbH. The remaining 10% will be taken over by the holding’s long-standing business partner and industrial expert Dipl. Ing. Udo Wendland, who has already acted as a co-investor with Tyrol Equity at various occasions.

Tyrol Equity becomes majority shareholder of the long-standing outfitter of the Austrian Skiing Association

Feldkirchen/Innsbruck, June 2013: The Innsbruck-based industrial holding Tyrol Equity takes over two thirds of the shares in the Upper-Austrian producer of sportswear, Eisbär. The holding has already held a 26.67% share in the company since 2009 and has now acquired another 40% from its long-standing partner Invest AG. It is Tyrol Equity’s goal to also establish the successful traditional Austrian brand beyond its core markets.
