History

2015

In June 2015, Tyrol Equity invested with 65% in the SAV group, headquartered in Nuremberg. SAV is a specialist in the field of clamping technology. Also, the shares of Lenzing Plastics were issued to Invest AG in June. Furthermore, the majority of the BBS GmbH was sold.

2013

Right at the beginning of the year 2013, Tyrol Equity AG celebrated its fifth anniversary, and in April Tyrol Equity AG, in a joint venture with Invest AG, took over the majority of shares of Lenzing Plastics. In summer, Tyrol Equity AG could rejoice in acquiring the majority of Eisbär Sportmoden GmbH, official outfitter of the Austrian Skiing Association. The holding had already held a 26.67% share of the company since 2009 and has now acquired another 40%. Hypo Tirol Bank sold its shares of Tyrol Equity AG in November. 26.3% of the shares were acquired by the current shareholder, Tyrol Equity Beteiligungs GmbH. The remaining 10% were taken over by the holding’s long-standing business partner Dipl. Ing. Udo Wendland.

2012

In March 2012, Tyrol Equity AG invested in BBS GmbH, a developer and producer of premium light-alloy wheels, in the frame of an asset deal. In June 2012, SUSPA GmbH was sold to the Andlinger group.

2011

With the asset deal around AWECO's damper technology for washing machines in August 2011, a crucial acquisition for SUSPA was finalised. In December 2011, Tyrol Equity AG acquired RSN Sihn GmbH, a producer of fluidic and mechanical connectors.

2009

In June 2009, Tyrol Equity AG entered its first joint venture with  SUSPA GmbH, a producer of gas springs, dampers, security systems and adjustment systems. Half a year later, in December 2009, the purchase of shares of the EISBÄR cap producer was completed.

2007

"Successfully continuing a promising model" – following this motto, the team of initiators around Dr. Christoph Gerin-Swarovski joint together to develop a sustainable enterprise and equity model under the name of "Tyrol Equity".

With the participation of Raiffeisen Landesbank Oberösterreich and Hypo Tirol Bank, the circle of founding shareholders was closed in 2007.

The enterprise was introduced to the public on October 30, 2007, and has since been followed with great interest.

After moving into the office in Innsbruck's Kaiserjägerstrasse in January 2008, the company commenced its full operation.
